When Compass Group secured the contract with Newbury Racecourse, Linney’s strong relationship with Levy UK made us the odds-on favourite to become its digital signage partner.

To help bring this historic racecourse into the modern age, and drive maximum opportunities for efficiency and flexibility, Linney was invited to support Compass subsidiary, Levy UK + Ireland, with a solution across 21 of the venue’s food and beverage outlets. Each bar was analysed to establish its requirements and a total of 48 digital screens were installed and activated, bringing the total of Linney-delivered digital screens to 660 throughout Compass’ estate.

Our flexible MyScreens digital signage Content Management System (CMS) means that content can be changed as the food and beverage offer develops. Our bespoke digital signage software has been developed over the years to ensure its functionality is exactly what our clients need to maintain, manage, and optimise their digital signage solution, becoming a vital part of their marketing activity.

Our unique, data-driven scheduling system, which is part of MyScreens, lets Compass deliver and control rich, interactive and dynamic content across all 48 digital screens . Linney also creates the digital signage content for Compass, uploading it into a content library (another part of the CMS). The content library includes video content, editable menu templates (both sector-specific and custom if this is required) as well as static and animated non-editable content.

Our ongoing content development means that, once screens are in, they do their part in increasing attention time from guests and spend per head as a result.
