Water way to win
Our Film and Animation team’s played a huge part in a win at the prestigious Big Screen Awards 2023 for our client Cineworld
Our promotional film for the much-anticipated blockbuster Avatar: The Way of Water was awarded the Cinema Marketing Campaign of the Year for its role in encouraging more cinema-goers to watch the film at the chain’s IMAX, 4DX and ScreenX locations.
Starring Olympic medal-winning swimmers Matt Richards and Alice Dearing, the project involved lots of different technical elements and interesting filming techniques – much of which took place at a swimming pool in Lenton, Nottingham.
“We’re so proud of this project, the award win and the whole team that made it happen,” says producer James Parker. “It’s the first shoot we’ve done that has involved our camera operator donning scuba gear!”
