The annual September event is an opportunity for the card and gift retailer to share its festive strategy and products with its store teams. This was the third year we’ve staged this important gathering in our film studio – which was transformed into a cosy cottage setting, complete with tree, cards, presents and decorations.
The GQC was part of our wider Christmas campaign work for Card Factory, including the development of its “Share More Joy” message, which will feature heavily in store.
“More than 1,100 colleagues from across 40 separate locations joined online,” said Niall Minnery, head of Events. “This interactive event allowed them to share their thoughts and ask question of the senior leaders, who presented from the studio.
“The highlight was a Eurovision-style hook-up with different regions, where store teams shared their reflections of the day.”
Our Film and Animation team created a series of pre-recorded videos for broadcast during the event, which was hosted by Create’s Damon Parkin.
