Planting for the future

Surrounded by the legendary Sherwood Forest, we’re creating a sustainable legacy through trees

In 2022, we set ourselves an ambitious goal: to plant 25,000 trees in Sherwood Forest by 2025.

This local reforestation project complements our broader environmental initiatives, creating a richer habitat for local wildlife and offering a natural space for our local community to enjoy.

Since the project began, we’ve made significant progress, planting more than 16,000 seedlings across 10.5 hectares. Recently, we met the Sherwood Forest Trust on the edges of Coxmoor Golf Club, where the charity has planted nearly 10,000 trees on our behalf. The work being done here extends well beyond the golf course, helping to restore woodland that benefits local wildlife and the broader community.

Looking ahead, we remain focused on planting the remaining 9,000 trees. This will help to ensure that Sherwood Forest continues to flourish as a thriving habitat for wildlife and a cherished space for the community.
