Milestone on our net zero journey
Linney powers up with 100% renewable electricity
We’re proud to share that Linney has now switched to 100% renewable electricity across all our sites.
This means that every kilowatt powering our operations – from our offices to our manufacturing plant – is now sourced from UK renewables including wind, solar and hydro. By removing emissions from the energy we use every day, we’re taking another significant step forward on our sustainability journey.
Building on solar investment
The switch complements the solar power investments we’ve already made on site:
- A 999 kWh system installed at our main print factory two years ago.
- A further 850 kWh system being added to our newest building, which opens next month.
Together, these systems strengthen our ability to generate clean energy on site and reduce reliance on the grid. Our newest facility will also include EV charging infrastructure to support lower-emission travel.
A bigger picture
Switching to renewable electricity is just one part of our broader sustainability plan. From energy efficiency upgrades and waste reduction to biodiversity projects and circular design through our Regenerate programme, we’re taking action to achieve our ambitious goals – including reaching Net Zero by 2040.
At Linney, we believe that creativity, innovation and responsibility should always go hand in hand. This milestone is a celebration of what we’ve achieved so far – and a reminder of the work still to come.
