Heartfelt creativity
This spring, Linney Create hosted the first Heartlands Creative Forum, bringing together creative and digital voices to explore Mansfield’s growing role as a creative and cultural hub.
The first Heartlands Creative Forum brought more than 70 representatives from creative and digital organisations across our region to Linney Create this spring.
Sponsored by Nottinghamshire’s Create Growth N2, the event announced Mansfield as the “Creative and Cultural Hub of the Heartlands” positioning the town as a credible creative powerhouse. Its ambition it is to attract investment, elevate the sector and strengthen the region’s create and digital economy.
With attendees from local government, education and business, the forum drew an exuberant crowd. Guests shared ideas, explored Mansfield’s future potential and heard from creative leaders from Electric Bear and the Mansfield Film Festival.
Linney Create’s Jonathan Rhodes and Michael Fisher also shared their experiences of building a successful creative business in the region. With Adamsway dressed in the new Mansfield branding developed by Linney, the space buzzed with energy and possibility.
The forum marked another step in moving beyond Mansfield’s industrial image, with a sense of renewal and opportunity. As the inaugural Heartlands Creative Forum, it set a strong foundation for many more showcases of the region’s burgeoning creativity.
