Linney helps iconic cancer charity make the most of its fundraising
Few healthcare charities in the UK have an impact as profound as Macmillan Cancer Support. From specialist healthcare and financial support to people affected by cancer, it also looks at the social, emotional and practical impact cancer can have – so an efficient fundraising support partner is essential to the charity's success.
Since joining forces with Linney in 2017, Macmillan benefits from our full-service solution all under one roof – delivering ecommerce, marketing technology, print, direct mail, fundraising, warehousing, fulfilment services and logistics.
From cancer information, fundraising packs, merchandise and business cards for healthcare professionals, print-on-demand items and promotional gifts, we handle over 18,000 orders for the charity – with more than 80,000 pieces of merchandise and collateral distributed across its network. Working with third-party suppliers, we’ve also been able to launch a gift box service, supplying personalised items to customers.
We’re collaborating with Macmillan too; developing with important projects such as a print portal to allow stakeholders to order items and artwork on demand, a fully auditable barcoding system for collection materials, as well as the development and production of name badges and virtual gift items.
With two-way integration in stock management, we handle, store and fulfil around 80% of all Macmillan materials, as well as working alongside other third parties to fulfil important collateral not handled by Linney.
