Making Cineworld the star attraction

We’ve been working with Cineworld to bring its print, social, digital and customer experiences to life for several years – and we’re especially proud of a recently completed 3D POS project. In a bid to add festive cheer to Cineworld locations up and down the UK, the Linney 3D team created eye-catching point-of-sale pieces to inspire and delight film fans.

Flexible display design

Despite budget restrictions and more than 100 different cinema locations to consider, we developed a design that would fit each space optimally – and tie into Cineworld’s ‘Charades’ Christmas theme. After careful consideration and discussions with the client, our 3D team created a ‘tree’ made from charade cards. Starting with a white mock-up, our on-site team applied creative flourishes, topping the tree off with a sparkling Cineworld star.

Stand-out feature

The resulting POS proved to be an instant hit. The distinctive use of card to tie into the campaign theme, combined with the Cineworld star on the top, meant the promotion was on-brand and became a stand-out feature in every cinema.
