Rooting for success

It’s one thing to set an ambitious goal – it’s another to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in to make it happen

That’s exactly what a group of Linney colleagues did when they spent a day in February planting more than 700 trees and helping to transform a local field on the edge of Sherwood Forest.

With the support of the Sherwood Forest Trust, this latest planting session has brought us another step closer to our goal of 25,000 trees. Over the years, Linney people have planted trees in various locations around the Mansfield area, contributing to reforestation efforts and boosting biodiversity in areas that need it most.

The day was a perfect mix of hard work and camaraderie. Wellies on, spades in hand and plenty of teamwork – it was a proper Linney effort to transform open land into what will one day be a thriving woodland.
