Bronze award for Royal Mail film

We've won a Bronze award at the London Brand Film Festival Awards 2017 for a film we created with Royal Mail

An animation we created for Royal Mail’s 500th anniversary won a Bronze Award at the London Brand Film Festival Awards 2017 on 5 April.

‘By land, sea and air’ – one of a series of films to mark the postal operator’s landmark year – was up against some of last year’s most talked about film work in the Best Animation category.

The competition included the Sainsbury’s Christmas 2016 TV ad, which won the Gold Award, the John Lewis Christmas ad, which picked up Silver, plus the BBC’s Rio Olympic Games 2016 trailer and “We Are All Connected” from WWF Hungary.

“This is a fantastic achievement and we’re delighted with a Bronze Award,” says Michael Fisher from Linney Create. “To be on the podium with two films that were hot talking points on their release shows the quality of work we’re producing in the Midlands, often for a fraction of the cost.”

Congratulations to everyone involved in the project, and to Sainsbury’s and John Lewis for their successes too.
