The Challenge 

Bondeye Optical is a leading wholesale supplier to the eyecare industry. From optical equipment and eyewear to software and PPE, the company has historically supplied to independent and chain opticians.

As ‘at-home’ eyecare started to take  business away from the high street, the family-run brand took the bold step to move into the highly-competitive D2C (Direct to Consumer) market via Amazon.

The Solution

To support Bondeye’s successful leap online, we took on responsibility for storage of up to 4,000 distinct Bondeye products, as well as e-fulfilment and distribution. Bondeye customers are ensured of a slick, end-to-end ordering process, as our warehouse management system is now integrated with Bondeye’s Sage order processing solution.

To ensure the highest levels of customer safety, we implemented rigorous batch control and stock procedures so that expiry dates were taken into account for all products.

The Results

Linney now helps Bondeye process almost 29,000 orders a year – with over 304,000 items successfully delivered from our Mansfield warehouse to the doorsteps of valued customers across the UK and Republic of Ireland during 2019.

Our accuracy rate is an amazing 99.95%!
