Crafted in Mind

Find out how Linney created the perfect package for Mind’s latest charity campaign.

The challenge

Mind is a mental health charity committed to ensuring anyone with a mental health problem gets support and respect.

To help raise money and awareness, the Christmas Crafternoon on 1st December was just one of many “do your own” fundraising events held by Mind and, each year, the Mind Crafternoon team encourage and support people to host their own Crafternoons – where friends and family get together and make their own Christmas decorations, cards and gifts.

Because of the importance of fundraising, the support materials despatched to volunteers hosting their own Crafternoons needed to be attractive, useful and delivered to volunteers and fundraisers well in advance of the 1st December.

The solution

With our extensive experience in delivering when it mattered for other charitable campaigns, Mind invited us to produce and despatch the fundraising kits for the event.

The kits contained a number of support items, including a guide, craft templates, recipes, posters, decorations and a collection box – all crucial items to help the event run smoothly on the day. We printed, produced and fulfilled the items for the packs, making sure they were the best quality and colour.

The result

We produced over 75,000 individual items of promotional material for around 5,400 kits for the Christmas Crafternoon campaign – making this Mind’s most successful year for Crafternoon so far.

We are delighted with this year’s Christmas Crafternoon kits. The printing has been of fantastic quality and the mixture of coated and uncoated stock has really helped to give the kits a crafty feel – we’ve had so much positive feedback from our supporters.
