Making Hertford Theatre centre-stage

Linney Quadrant worked with their local theatre to make the most of passing footfall, capturing attention and maximising ticket sales.

BACKGROUND

Hertford Theatre is a place where people can come to feel happier and make a difference. Its artistic endeavour and engagement plays a vital role in developing the culture and economic life of East Herts and the people who live nearby – through film, plays, live music and more.

THE CHALLENGE

The theatre was looking to promote upcoming events and the annual pantomime. With such a great high street location, they were looking for something visually impactful for the outside of the theatre, making the most of their location and space.

THE RESULT

Linney Quadrant came up with the idea to install external window graphics on four of the large exterior windows, so event details could be seen from all directions by the public to achieve maximum attention and footfall. We recommended this approach as the self-adhesive PVC material is extremely durable, allowing it to last in all conditions.

Our team measured the space and took care of all installations and changes each month as the new programmes were released, meaning all the client had to do was supply artwork.

This new solution has helped to grab the attention of passers-by and since the window graphics have been installed, booking numbers are higher and the theatre is fully booked for most shows.
