Real-time 3D Artist

Department: Film

Location: Mansfield

Reference: 0600

Number of positions: 2

Type: Full Time

Job description:

Are you our next technical 3D artist? We need talented and driven artists to work primarily with game engines – Unreal Engine and Unity 3D.

A genuine interest in film and working with new technologies and techniques is a must as we move forward into virtual production.

Working alongside our diverse team of creative artists, programmers, producers and directors, you will be both developing our existing clients and seeking out new markets to offer them new and exciting ways to communicate their messages using the latest techniques now available to us – 3D modelling, world building and getting into the nuts and bolts of live film production using LED walls alongside rendered content, AR and VR.

You’ll primarily be creating with Unreal Engine and Unity 3D and, of course, 3D modelling programmes to produce exciting virtual environments.

Essential skills:

Adaptability is key. A lot of what we do isn’t yet set in stone, so a strong desire to reach into the unknown, to discover, understand and apply is paramount.

You’ll need focus and energy to thrive and a thirst for knowledge. You’ll need to bring with you strong modelling skills and an understanding of the core concepts of real-time 3D.

Desirable skills:

Our people have a wide range of skills – this is not a silo where we work in isolation. Team-working, team success, and highly knowledgeable people are at the core of what we do. You get to be a part of that.
