Job description:

Due to continuous growth, Linney Display is offering an exciting opportunity for three Packaging Designers to join our award-winning team.

We design semi-permanent displays and packaging solutions for well-loved global and high-street brands, specialising in the health and beauty sector.

Artfully balancing creativity and practicality, we develop displays and packaging that are innovative and eye-catching, while remaining cost-effective and compliant to brand and retailer guidelines.

Our working culture is hugely important to us, and teamwork is the key to our success. You will be working collaboratively alongside a diverse mix of 3D Designers, Graphic Designers, Engineers and Project Managers.

Essential skills:

  • Create innovative ways to help brands deliver sustainable and eye-catching packaging solutions
  • Work closely with a team of like-minded multi-discipline designers to create industry-leading gift boxes, packaging solutions and influencer boxes
  • Have excellent communication skills, liaising with engineering and sales teams to make sure designs adhere to both client specification and manufacturing guidelines
  • Enjoy the challenge of working in a fast-paced studio environment and be able to pivot from job to job whilst providing legendary customer service
  • Be able to show and justify their creative thinking through mood boards and scamps

Desirable skills:

The design and manufacture of packaging and influencer boxes is a rapidly growing area of our business, and we are looking for a mix of disciplines and candidates, covering 2D artworking, 3D conceptualisation and cardboard engineering of the end product.

We will consider specialists with one particular skill set, or a hybrid role which may cover one or more of these disciplines. Candidates will be considered who have any mix of these skills:

  • Good understanding of the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite
  • 3D visualisation skills in 3DStudio Max (or similar)
