Job description:

We’re currently expanding our Bid team and are looking for a talented and enthusiastic bid coordinator to support our ongoing tender activity, working in a fast-paced environment on a wide range of multi-sector bids.

Working alongside our bid manager, you will be responsible for administering our bid process from qualification through to pitch. The ideal candidate will be a strong content writer with good time management skills, as both of these attributes are critical to this role. You must be able to work to tight deadlines and be comfortable engaging with multiple stakeholders to ensure tasks are completed on time.

For this reason, strong interpersonal skills are another important attribute of this role, as you’ll engage with a wide range of stakeholders from across our business. An understanding of a typical bid process would also be preferable but is not essential, as training will be provided.

We need someone who’s able to work within a team but also independently, with the ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure while supporting multiple bids simultaneously.

You will also need to be proactive and well-organised in order to support the upkeep of our new SharePoint bid and marketing library. This will involve working alongside our Bid manager to ensure that all content is kept up-to-date and reflects our marketing proposition.

Ideally, you will be familiar with and have a keen interest in the marketing services sector or have the ability to learn about the market. You’ll also need to be proficient in Office 365, specifically Word, PowerPoint and Teams, with experience of SharePoint and InDesign also being desirable.

We are supportive of hybrid working and can be flexible on location, but the ideal candidate will be able and willing to travel to our offices in Mansfield when required.

Key tasks:

  • Writing PQQ/RFI/RFP responses
  • Managing our bid tracker
  • Monitoring tender opportunities via our dedicated inbox
  • Supporting the upkeep of our SharePoint bid and marketing library
  • Coordinating internal bid meetings
  • Ensuring our written content is up-to-date and ‘on brand’
  • Liaising with various stakeholders from across Linney
