Quantitative Researcher

 

As the importance of understanding and integrating data continues to grow, Linney is looking to put consumer insight at the heart of everything it does.

To help achieve this, the Insight team is looking for a quantitative researcher to help define methodology design and distil commercially relevant findings from the broad range of data we deal with.

The focus of this role is to help our clients understand their current and prospective customers, associated behaviours and to help explain the business opportunities this data provides.

The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for creating, analysing and debriefing data from a range of sources – including surveys and primary customer research, digital channels and platforms and operational and commercial information. Ultimately you will be helping to develop customer insight for key business decisions, sharing findings with colleagues and clients to help shape strategy.

The role requires a level of experience working in market research or a related field, so we will be looking at candidates with a minimum of two years’ experience in an agency or hands-on client role.

The data you will be working with will be from a range of sources/platforms (e.g. R/Python, SQL, Qualtrics, SPSS, Excel, SAS, Adobe/Google Analytics, Tableaux, Q) and whilst you will not always be required work with this data in its raw format, an appreciation of the variety of data sources, and a willingness/aptitude to dig into data further to unearth valuable insight is essential.

You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and be passionate about your personal development and innovation within the field of quantitative research.

Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering compelling insights and recommendations from quantitative projects to creatively communicate value and opportunity to clients within their commercial context
  • Respond to queries from clients with accuracy and speed and clearly communicating recommended research design, insights, opportunities and recommendations
  • Deliver ad-hoc analysis and reporting – explaining, troubleshooting and resolving any queries to the stakeholders
  • Engage internal teams in the insight and analytics process and regularly share insight and recommendations to aid decision making
