A dazzling debut: Post Office at Pride
Linney helps Post Office show up in style for its first ever appearance at Pride.
The recent Pride event in London was one of the largest of its kind in the world – with over 30,000 people taking to the capital’s streets to celebrate equality and LGBT+ rights.
And Post Office certainly made an entrance this year – aboard a spectacular parade float created by Linney.
The brand has always played an important role in society and communities of every kind. So it wanted to make a statement about the kind of business it is – as an employer and in all the places it serves.
We worked closely with Post Office to ensure its presence on the day did just that, transforming a truck into a dazzling float, proudly boasting a shimmering rainbow redesign of the brand’s logo and the hashtag #PrideMatters.
Colourful balloons and bunting hung along it. Post Office people marched alongside. And music pumped out, raising the tempo as the team – including some Linney helpers – partied through the streets.
The float was just part of a wider project for Post Office that also included rebranding its London office, Great Portland Street branch and even two cash delivery vehicles with the Pride Rainbow stripes. This was a company-wide celebration from start to finish.
Our client was delighted at the positive reception – some of which you can hear in the video clip above – which helps cement the Post Office as a diverse, modern, inclusive employer.
